Our Cake & Play Parties are our cute, intimate party option — perfect for families wanting to keep the celebration simple and let PLAY be the main event!
These parties run alongside one of our public play sessions and have a minimum booking value which includes 8 children + 8 adults. Additional guests can be added at an extra cost, with a maximum capacity of 12 children per Cake & Play Party.
You’ll be allocated your own party space for your celebration. Please note, there may be another Cake & Play Party happening at the same time, with each party having its own allocated area.
Our suggested party flow is:
45 minutes of PLAY → Cake Celebration 🎂 → Back to PLAY!
Cake & Play is designed around a cake-only celebration, keeping things easy so the kids can spend as much time as possible enjoying The Messy Patch.
All party guests must leave at the scheduled end time of the public play session. We kindly ask hosts to include their pack-up time within the allocated session, as our team begins resetting the venue straight away ready to welcome our next little mess makers. There are no early set times you will be welcomed through with your gusts at the start of the play session.

Mud & Mess Outdoor Party | 90 Minutes
Our Mud & Mess Outdoor Party is a 90-minute celebration giving you exclusive use of our cute outdoor play space. With undercover areas and plenty to explore, it’s perfect for little mess makers who love getting outdoors and getting messy! Our Party packge costs includes 20 kids and 20 adults, additionals can be added at an extra cost of $25 per child and $5 per adult.

Plus, we’re always mixing things up, with new activities regularly coming in and out of the space.
Your 90-Minute Party
Our suggested party flow is:
45 minutes PLAY → Cake & Snacks 🎂 → Back to PLAY → Signature Goodbye Bubbles 🫧
You’ll also receive 15 minutes early entry before your 90-minute party begins, giving the host time to set up the party table before guests arrive.
Party Availability
Mud & Mess Outdoor Only Parties are available 7 days a week, with different time slots available depending on the day. As this party includes exclusive use of our outdoor space, bookings are by request so we can confirm availability and the best time for your celebration.
Sunday parties incur an additional 20% surcharge.
We kindly ask party hosts to include clean-up and pack-up within the allocated 90-minute party time, as our team needs to reset the space ready for our next guests.

Want The Messy Patch all to yourselves? Our HappiMess Party gives you exclusive use of the entire venue, with inside AND outside play
Your little mess makers can free-roam between our indoor and outdoor play spaces throughout the session, exploring everything on offer at their own pace. It’s all about PLAY, celebrating and spreading the HappiMess!
Your Party Includes
Your party package includes entry for up to:
20 children + 20 adults
Need to add a few extras? Additional guests can be added when we confirm your final numbers and paid for on the day— perfect for those last-minute changes or little guests who may not end up attending.
How Your Party Runs
We recommend following our party schedule to make the most of your celebration:
45 minutes PLAY → Food Break → Back to PLAY → Birthday Cake & Final Plays → Goodbye Bubbles
Throughout the play portions of your party, children can free-roam between the inside and outside play areas.
The final 30 minutes brings everyone together for birthday cake, followed by those last plays outside and our signature Messy Patch Goodbye Bubbles to finish the celebration.

HappiMess Parties are available 7 days a week.
Our online booking calendar is pre-allocated with Saturday and Sunday party times. If you’re looking for a Monday–Friday celebration, please email us directly with your enquiry so we can check availability.
A Little Party Housekeeping
We kindly ask party hosts to include packing up their party space within the allocated party time, as we need to prepare the venue for our next session.
Anything you bring into the venue must also leave with you at the end of your party. Rubbish bins are available onsite for your party rubbish.

PArty Housekeeping And Reminders
Parties at The Messy Patch | A Little Housekeeping
We want your celebration to run smoothly and be full of HappiMess! Before your party, please take a moment to read through a few important things to know.
Party Times
We kindly ask that you stick to your allocated arrival and departure times. Before your party, our team may be setting up or enjoying a well-deserved break, and once your party finishes, we’ll be resetting for our next session or packing down for the day.
Please make sure your clean-up and pack-up is completed within your allocated party time.
Party Deposit
All party bookings require a $100 deposit to secure your date and time. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Food & Drinks
Parties are BYO food and drinks. Please note that we do not have heating or refrigeration facilities, so please plan your party food accordingly.
Tableware
Please bring any tableware you require for your celebration, including plates, cups, cutlery, napkins, serving items and cake utensils.
Decorations
The Messy Patch is already filled with a fun pop of colour, so there’s no need to bring lots of decorations!
We ask that decorations are kept to a minimum and are limited to your allocated party table area only.
Please note:
No hanging decorations and no piñatas.
Keeping decorations simple means less time setting up and packing down — and more time to enjoy the PLAY!
All Kids need to be approrpiately supervised while playing in the Space
