Exclusive Excursions for Schools, Kinders & Day Cares

Bring your group to The Messy Patch for a morning of hands-on, sensory-rich play in a space that’s all yours. When you book an excursion, the whole venue is exclusive to your group – no public entry, and no need to worry about who else is attending.

*Please note: the booking shows as 5 hours (9am–2pm). This is the time we reserve the venue for your group, so we can set up beforehand, work around your arrival and departure times, and reset afterwards, without any other bookings scheduled. Your group's visit includes 3 hours of play within this time.

What to expect

We block out the venue for your group from 9am to 2pm and work our schedule around your arrival and departure times. Your group can attend all together in one session, or be split over two – we’re flexible and will plan the details with you once you’ve booked.

Your visit includes 3 hours of play. Our suggested schedule:

• Play – 45 minutes

• Quick fruit snack break

• Back to play

• Lunch

• More play

• Back on Bus Prep – toileting, and bags packed ready to go (in some cases this can take 20mins)

Children explore our indoor play areas, activity and exploration tables, and our outdoor mud, paint and sensory spaces.

Facilities

• Exclusive use of the whole venue

• Two toilets on site

• An allocated space for every child, so they have a spot that belongs to them while they’re with us

• Public liability insurance specifically for schools, kindergartens and day cares

Pricing

• $770 + GST for up to 25 children

• $15 + GST per additional child

How to book

Choose your preferred weekday and send us a booking request – no payment is needed to book. We’ll confirm your date, chat with you about arrival times and groups, and send you an invoice.
